Stop Smoking Hypnotherapy
Genuinely Want To Stop Smoking?
In today’s modern society smoking is frowned about more than ever in its history. More and more as a smoker it is becoming difficult to light up a cigarette and enjoy it. You can not smoke in restaurants, bars, clubs, airplanes, public transport, hotels, work, work vehicles and so the list increases. Even outside in public is becoming difficult. Smokers are now seen as anti-social and made to feel like lepers.
Smoking Facts
In 2021 in Great Britain statistics show that only 5% of 18-24 years old smoke every day, with a huge 71% having never smoked at all. Compared to 25 – 64 year olds where 10% smoke every day and 57% having never smoked and 65+ 7% smoke every day and only 41% having never smoked. The number of smokers has almost halved over the last 20 years.
Giving up smoking can reduce your high risk of over 15 types of cancer. Isn’t this enough of a reason to stop smoking?

Benefits of Quitting Smoking
The benefits of stopping smoking can start in as little as 20 minutes. So by the time you leave me you already have a lowered blood pressure. Your pulse rate will have dropped and your temperature of hands and feet improved.
Smoking is so additive due to the nicotine hit that reaches your brain in just 10 seconds improving your mood. Regular hits of nicotine creates changes to your brain, thus you get nicotine withdrawal symptoms as the levels decrease. Lighting up again increases the levels quickly and so the Hippocampus creates a pattern match of behaviour and so the habit is created.
Smoking Research
Contrary to popular belief smoking does not relieve the feelings of stress. Research shows that smoking increases anxiety and tension. Smoking is a major cause of anxiety and stress due to the changes within the brains neurotransmitters, lack of oxygen and increased levels of carbon monoxide. Smokers are now recognised to be 80% more likely to suffer from severe depression or clinical anxiety, compared to a non-smoker.
Independent scientists agree that smoking is not physically addictive but actually 90% in the mind, due to the pattern matches in the hippocampus.
You obviously want to quit otherwise you wouldn’t be looking at Stop Smoking Hypnotherapy. Maybe you’ve tried patches, gum, cold turkey and yet you still smoke, you’re thinking this is your last hope.
I’m not interested in you being a non-smoker, tomorrow, next week or even next month. Or in 5 years’ time when everything at work has gone horribly wrong for example…This is the real test… can you refrain from buying that package of cigarettes? Or stop yourself when your friend offers you a cigarette? This is what I’m interested in. Once you’ve had Stop Smoking Hypnotherapy all need to do is remember the process and say whole heartily “No thanks I don’t smoke”.
Being an Ex-Smoker
Being an ex-smoker myself, I know the constant internal battle of allowing myself to continue. I smoked from being 11 years old to 29. When I gave up cold turkey, just one night, that was it.
However, the lure was never far from my mind and if I’d had a drink or two, well, I’d reach straight for them. Until, one day after 10 years, I started up again, but it was ok, I told myself, I’m in control. In truth, I was kind of, as long as I was at home, then I was fine. Until 3 years ago, when enough was enough. So, believe me, I understand the struggle, but I also know how to win the battle. Let me help you.
A one-off session
So, in a one-off session, we talk about your habit. The why’s, when’s, how you feel when smoking and how others feel around you. And of course why you want to stop now. In many ways this is the most important part of the process. It is this that will stay with you long after this process is over.
After having discussed all this in detail, it’s time for you to lay back on the recliner chair and relax, while I talk to you.
Upon sitting back up, you are a NON-SMOKER. Congratulations..
